- In April 2022 IRN-BRU issued a recall saying "As a precautionary measure, we are recalling certain batches of IRN-BRU Regular and IRN-BRU 1901 in 750ml glass bottles because of an issue with the caps which may cause them to pop off unexpectedly. "
